What they fail to recognise is the oxymoron of this statement as websites get more traffic the more they move up the rankings. How could therefore a website be ranked high before receiving large amounts of organic traffic?
It is keyword relevance and keyword density alongside popularity on the web, in terms of mentions on other websites, that are important.
