In my culture there is a saying that can be translated "a sweet word brings you more". :) plus there is a chance that a friend of the friend of your friend will read your comments about him/her and won;t be happy. And as we live in a small world, you don't know when you meet that person. Why would you ruin your future cocktail party for 200 characters written on facebook? I feel like Jordan-agony-aunt giving advice in some magazine... :) I would not recommend that.
